That is also how I experience the Raku process. Creating in Raku brings so much happiness and pleasure. The excitement of firing the objects outdoor, to see the result of all the beautiful glazes. The result is nearly always a surprise, as it is not always easy to predict the outcome of Raku firing. That makes the process even more fun and delightful.
